High Pressure Safety Valve HVAC: Service and Repair

HR-6 Compressor:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Recover Refrigerant.

2. Remove old pressure relief valve.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Clean valve seat area on rear head.

2. Lubricate O-ring and new pressure relief valve. Install new valve and torque in place to 9 Nm (6.1 lb. ft.).

3. Evacuate and recharge the system.

4. Check for leaks.
