Troubleshooting Hints

TRY FOLLOWING CHECK BEFORE DOING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
^ If headlamps operate properly from Head/Park Lamp Switch, but do not turn on automatically when equipped with Twilight Sentinel/Daytime Running Lamps and Fog Lamps, refer to Lighting and Horns / System Diagnosis Testing and Inspection
1. Check I/P Fuse Block Fuses 6C and 6D by visual inspection.
2. If one Headlamp or Fog Lamp doesn't work, check the bulb, connector and wiring to bulb (see schematic).
3. If Headlamps or Fog Lamps on one side are dim, check ground on that side.
4. If Fog Lamp ON Indicator and Illumination Lamp do not work, check ground wiring in headliner.
5. Check that grounds G104, G105, G201 and G202 are clean and tight.
6. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections. Refer to General Troubleshooting Procedure. Diagnostic Aids
