Converter Clutch Diagnosis

The converter clutch is applied by fluid pressure which is controlled by a solenoid located within the transaxle. The solenoid is energized or released by making or breaking a ground contact through a combination of external sensors, switches, and on some models the fuel system Electronic Control Module (ECM).
