This bulletin is being issued to revise information for Data Link Connector (DLC) Chart # 1 in Section 8A-50 of the appropriate Service Manuals.

The following pages are affected:

^ Page 8A-50-8 of the 1996 C/H Service Manual

^ Page 8A-50-10 of the G Service Manual

The fourth box down on the left side of Chart # 1 currently contains the following information:

^ Using J 39200 digital voltmeter set to ohms scale, check resistance from DLC terminal 16 to ground, then DLC terminal 4 to ground. Are readings less than 5 ohms?

This step (which is checking that the two Data Link Connector grounds are OK) should read as follows:

^ Using J 39200 digital voltmeter set to ohms scale, check resistance from DLC terminal 5 to ground, then DLC terminal 4 to ground. Are readings each less than 5 ohms?
