Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT 1.
Disconnect the spark plug wires.
2.
Remove 2 screws (1) securing the coil (2) to the
ignition control module (3).
3.
Remove the coil (2).
INSTALL OR CONNECT 1.
Attach the coil assembly to the
ignition control module.
2.
Install two attaching screws.
-
Tighten the screws to
4-5 Nm (40 lb. in.).
3.
Connect the spark plug wires.
