HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT FOR AUTOMATIC A/C (C68 & CJ2)
Heater Hoses:
Tool Required:
J 37097 Hose Clamp Pliers
Remove or Disconnect
1. Drain cooling system.
2. Heater hoses from heater core, using J 37097.
3. Programmer, Service and Repair
4. Retaining screws and heater core cover.
5. Retaining screws and heater core from vehicle.
Install or Connect
1. Heater core into vehicle and attaching screws.
Tighten
Tighten screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb.in.).
2. Heater core cover and attaching screws.
Tighten
Tighten screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb.in.).
3. Programmer, Service and Repair
Tighten
Tighten screws to 1.4 Nm (12 lb.in.).
4. Heater hoses to heater core using J 37097.
5. Fill cooling system.
