Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair






Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.
2. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the air inlet duct from the MAF sensor and the throttle body.
4. Remove the MAF sensor from air filter housing.

Installation Procedure
1. Carefully install MAF sensor to air inlet grommet.
2. Attach the MAF sensor to air inlet duct and install the air inlet duct.
3. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
4. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
