Component Tests and General Diagnostics
CAUTION:The SIR driver deployment loop (CKT 347 and 348) passes through connector C200. You must take special precautions before servicing connector C200. Disable the SIR system before you disconnect, probe, or service connector C200. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System. Failure to follow the correct procedure could cause air bag deployment, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs.
1. Check RR DEF Fuse and the HTR-A/C Fuse.
2. If one or more of the grid lines do not heat, refer to Stationary Windows for grid line repair procedures. Windows
3. If the Panel Light is inoperable with the Headlight Switch in PARK or HEAD, cheek bulb and wiring to bulb (CKT 8 Power. CKT 150 - Ground).
^ Refer to Instrument Panel Gauges And Console for Rear Defogger Switch and Multi-Function Alarm Module access.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove GOOD in a continuity/voltage check (refer to Troubleshooting Procedures).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (refer to Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
