Door Ajar Indicator - Range on/Off

This data indicates what message is being sent from the Body Function Controller (BFC) to the Instrument Cluster to control the Door Ajar indicator illumination. On, is displayed when the Body Function Controller (BFC) is commanding the Instrument Cluster to illuminate the Door Ajar indicator which indicates to the Driver one or more Doors are not closed and completely latched. Off, is displayed when the Body Function Controller (BFC) is commanding the Door Ajar indicator not to be illuminated. The Body Function Controller (BFC) reads the status of all door inputs and sends a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) serial data message to the Instrument Cluster illuminate the Door Ajar indicator. In the event of an Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) data line failure, the Instrument Cluster will turn the Door Ajar indicator off.
