Door Lock Cylinder Switch

The front door lock cylinders are equipped with switches that are used to disarm the Universal Theft Deterrent (UTD) system. When the lock cylinder is turned to unlock the door, the door lock cylinder switch closes and the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module detects a ground at terminal E11 (CKT 262, LT GRN). When the RFA detects a ground condition at terminal E11 the UTD system is disarmed and enters the delayed mode.

The door lock cylinder switch is serviced separately from the door lock cylinder.
