Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check IP Fuse Block RADIO FUSE 8D by visual inspection.
2. Check RH MaxiFuse� Block PWR WDO/SR CIRCUIT BREAKER by visual inspection.
3. Check IP Junction Block POWER WDO/SUNROOF RELAY by visual inspection.
4. If sunroof does not operate for ten minutes after ignition switch is turned off (if equipped with Retained Accessory Power), refer to Retained Accessory Power for diagnosis. Accessory Delay Module
5. Partially lower headliner, release clutch and manually crank sunroof using a 4 mm hex wrench.
^ If sunroof operates smoothly from hand crank, proceed to the Symptom Table.
6. Check that ground G201 is clean and tight.
7. Check that all sunroof connectors are seated properly.
8. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove GOOD in a continuity/voltage check. Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures.
9. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may effect the integrity of other systems. Refer to Troubleshooting Procedures. Diagnostic Aids
