Intake Manifold Installation

1. Install the lower intake manifold gasket.
2. Install the lower intake manifold.
3. Apply GM P/N 12345382 threadlocker or equivalent on the threads.
4. Install the lower intake manifold bolts.
^ Tighten the lower intake manifold bolts in sequence to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install the two hidden bolts.





6. Install the EGR outlet pipe to the intake manifold.
7. Install the EGR outlet pipe bolt.
^ Tighten the EGR outlet pipe bolt to 29 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
