Shift Interlock: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the center console.
3. Remove the electrical connector from the shift interlock solenoid.





4. Remove both ends of the shift interlock solenoid from the pivot points.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the shift interlock solenoid upper clip onto the upper pivot point, and lower clip onto the lower pivot point.
2. Install the front floor console.
3. Install the electrical connector to the shift interlock solenoid.
