Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fluid level sensor (4).





2. Remove the fluid level sensor (3). Use needle nose pliers in order to compress the sensor locking tabs at the inboard side of the master cylinder reservoir.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the fluid level sensor (3) into the master cylinder reservoir (1) until the locking tabs snap in place.





2. Install the electrical connector to the fluid level sensor (4).
