81. Air Injection Check Valve Installation

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install air injection check valve pipe adapters, rear.
^ Tighten the air injection check valve pipe adapters to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).





2. Install air injection check valve pipe adapters, front.
^ Tighten the air injection check valve pipe adapters to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).





3. Install air injection check valve rear bracket and nuts.
^ Tighten the air injection check valve rear bracket nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





4. Install air injection check valve front bracket, bolt and nut.
^ Tighten the air injection check valve front bracket bolt and nut to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).





5. Install air injection check valve rear.
^ Tighten the air injection check valve to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
6. Install air injection check valve nut, rear.
^ Tighten the air injection check valve nut rear to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





7. Install air injection check valve front.
^ Tighten the air injection check valve front to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
8. Install air injection check valve nut front.
^ Tighten the air injection check valve nut to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





9. Install air injection solenoid switch and bolt.
^ Tighten the air injection solenoid switch bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





10. Install air injection check valve pipe, clamps, and bolt.
^ Tighten the air injection check valve pipe bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





11. Install air injection vacuum hose.
