Cleaning Vinyl Trim

Apply a small amount of mild soap solution and warm water. Allow the soap solution soak for a few minutes on the affected area in order to loosen the dirt. Rub the area briskly with a clean damp cloth in order to remove the dirt and the leftover traces of soap. Repeat as needed.

Remove the following substances immediately in order to avoid difficult stains:

* Tar
* Shoe polish
* Asphalt

If the vinyl is stained, wipe off the substance as quickly as possible. Clean the area with a clean cloth dampened with a solvent-type vinyl/leather cleaner or equivalent.
