Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the harness connector
2. Remove the bolt.
3. Remove the vehicle speed sensor.

4. Remove the O-ring seal.

Installation Procedure

1. Coat the seal with a thin film of transmission fluid.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolt.
^ Tighten the bolt to 11 Nm (97 inch lbs.).
3. Install the harness connector.
4. Refill the fluid as required.
