Door Removal - Front

Removal Procedure

1. Open the front door.
2. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement).
3. Independently support the front door with an adjustable lifting device.




4. Remove the front door intermediate bolts (1).
5. Remove the front door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the front door to the vehicle with the help of an assistant.
2. Independently support the front door with an adjustable lifting device.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Important: Use Loctite(R) Blue GM P/N 12345382 or equivalent prior to the fastener installation.


3. Install the front door intermediate hinge bolts (1).

Tighten the front door intermediate hinge bolts to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).

4. Remove the adjustable front door independent support.
5. Install the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement).
6. Adjust the front door. Refer to Door Adjustment (Adjustments).
