Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the sheet metal diagonal brace to the inner fender bolt.
3. Remove the sheet metal diagonal brace to radiator support bolts.
4. Remove the electrical harness cable retainer located near the center of the brace.
5. Remove the sheet metal diagonal brace.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the sheet metal diagonal brace to the radiator support and to the inner fender.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the front fender upper diagonal brace to radiator support bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 47 Nm (35 lb ft).

3. Install the front fender upper diagonal brace to inner fender bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 47 Nm (35 lb ft).

4. Install the electrical harness cable retainer.
5. Close the hood.
