CKP Sensor Status

The scan tool displays Angle, Time A or Time B. During normal operation the PCM calculates crankshaft position in an angle based mode using the signals from both CKP sensors. If there is a problem with one of the signals, the PCM will switch to a time based calculation and the scan tool will indicate which signal is being used.
