Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble

Assembly Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Assemble the upper shroud (2) and secure by using 2 TORX(R) head screws (1).
Tighten the screws to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).





2. Lock the upper and lower shrouds together.





3. Assemble the lower shroud (2) and secure by using 2 pan head tapping screws (1).
Tighten the screws to 3.5 Nm (31 inch lbs.).
4. Assemble the tilt lever assembly.
