Rear Door Power Window Switch Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:
^ When removing a door trim panel or a switch plate, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting out the switch if a flat-bladed tool, awl or metal object is used to remove the switch from the harness.
^ Protect the trim panel at the point of insertion of the flat-bladed tool in order to avoid damaging the door panel.

1. Use a small, flat-bladed tool in order to remove the power window switch plate.
From under the pull handle, insert the tool at the rear of the switch plate in order to release the switch plate retainer.
2. Lift the rear of the power window switch plate.
3. Slide the switch plate rearward out of the door trim panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the power window switch.
5. Use a small, flat-bladed tool in order to remove the power window switch from the switch plate.
6. Remove the power window switch from the switch plate.
