Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Trim Plate Bezel Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the trim plate screws from the instrument panel (I/P) cluster.
2. Pull the I/P cluster trim plate rearward. Pull up and out to release the lower retainers.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the trip reset switch.
4. Disengage the retainers on the trip reset switch. Remove the trip reset switch from the I/P cluster trim plate.
5. Remove the I/P cluster trim plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the trip reset switch to the I/P cluster trim plate. Press the switch into place until fully seated.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the trip reset switch.
3. Position the retainers on the I/P cluster trim plate to the slots in the I/P.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the I/P cluster trim plate screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
