Storage Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right) .
2. Remove the fasteners (1) that secure the IP storage compartment door to the IP retainer.
3. Remove the IP storage compartment and door assembly by pulling rearward.
4. Remove the fasteners that secure the IP storage compartment to the IP storage compartment door.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the IP storage compartment to the IP storage compartment door.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the IP storage compartment to the door.
Tighten the fasteners to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
3. Position the IP storage compartment and door assembly to the IP retainer.
4. Install the fasteners (1) in order to secure the IP storage compartment door to the IP retainer.
Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
5. Install the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right) .
