Left or Right Outside Door Handle Loose/Rattles (Lube Door Handle Lever)

Models:
2003 Chevrolet Venture
2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette
2003 Pontiac Montana

Condition

Some customers may comment on a loose outside door handle in the driver's or passenger's door. The handle will not fully return, causing a rattle.

Cause

The door handle lever may be tight and lacking lubrication.

Correction





1. Remove the access plug in the side of the door.





2. Go though the access hole and spray GM Super Lube(R) on the lever and work the handle a number of times.

3. Install the access plug.
