Automatic Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
3. Remove the left engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine.
4. Use a utility stand with a block of wood in order to support the transaxle.





5. Remove the transaxle mount upper nuts.





6. Remove the transaxle mount bracket bolts.
7. Remove the transaxle mount bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the transaxle mount bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the transaxle mount bracket bolts.
Start with the forward lower bolt and work clockwise to tighten the transaxle mount bracket bolts to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).
3. Remove the utility stand.





4. Install the transaxle mount upper nuts.
Tighten the nuts to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the left engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine.
6. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
7. Lower the vehicle.
