Engine Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Fig. 9 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system.:
1.
Disconnect electrical connector C2, Fig. 9, from the electronic control module.
2.
Using an ohmmeter, measure speed sensor electrical connector terminal resistance.
3.
Resistance should be 40-60 ohms. If not, replace speed sensor.
