Overboost Switch: Description and Operation

The overboost pressure switch, located on the air intake, signals the injection ECU when intake pressure reaches 15.22-16.68 psi. At this point, engine speed is limited to 3000 RPM by cutting off the injection system. Injection is re-established when manifold pressure drops below 15.22 psi.
