Manual Transmission/Transaxle: Description and Operation

These transaxles, used on front wheel drive models, incorporate gear reduction, ratio selection and differential functions in one die-cast aluminum housing.
All forward speeds are synchronized, with the synchronizers being of the "winged strut" design to prevent the struts from popping out of position.
These transaxles use SAE 5W-30 engine oil as lubricant.
