This service applies to the following models only:

1983 model year vehicles with 2.2L 2BBL carbureted engines equipped with solekickers:

^ High altitude - automatic transmission with air conditioning only.

^ Shelby Charger - Federal and California and high altitude.

1984 model year all with 2.2L 2BBL carbureted engines built prior to October 3, 1983 (MDH 10-03-XX). The date stamp on top surface of solekicker mounting bracket must be 2283-2293 (clean point) or lower. Date stamp can be seen by removing carburetor air cleaner crossover.
