Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

IGNITION COIL

Ignition Coil:




The ignition coil pack attaches to the right cylinder head.

REMOVAL
1. Loosen coolant pressure bottle from mounting bracket (do not remove hoses).
2. Disconnect electrical connector from coil pack.
3. Remove coil pack mounting screws.

Spark Plug Cable Identification:




4. Remove coil. The spark plug cables are numbered for cylinder identification.
5. Transfer spark plug cables to new coil pack. The coil pack towers are numbered with the cylinder identification.

INSTALLATION
1. Reverse procedure for installation.
