Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

The blower motor resistor is located in the bulkhead of the vehicle under the cowl trim panel and behind the windshield washer reservoir.

REMOVAL
1. Remove both wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm and Blade Removal and Installation for proper procedures.

Cowl Trim Cover Removal:

2. Remove cowl trim cover.
3. The blower motor resistor is behind the windshield washer reservoir. Disconnect wiring connector on blower motor resistor.
4. Remove blower motor resistor retaining screws.

Blower Motor Resistor:

5. Pull blower motor resistor out of bulkhead.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.
