With the introduction of the 115A Alternator Model Year 1985, a wider PolyRib belt (6 ribs vs. 5 ribs) is installed.

The initial adjusting value is 9.5 +/- 0.3. After reaching this value, two complete turns must be made on the adjusting rod for additional tension. The two bolts for the adjusting rods must be loosened for this operation.
