Checking Control Pressure "Warm-Full Throttle Enrichment"
CHECKING CONTROL PRESSURE "WARM-FULL THROTTLE ENRICHMENT"1. Check control pressure "warm" (fuel pumps must be running).
2. Disconnect pressure hose for warm-up regulator at throttle housing.
3. Connect tester VW 1274 with (locally made) adapter on disconnected hose (to warm-up regulator).
4. Pump warm-up regulator to approx. 0.5 bar (7 psi) pressure.
Note:
A pressure above 0.8 bar (11 psi) could damage the diaphragm in the warm-up regulator.
Control pressure will now drop and must reach the specified value with warm-up regulator out of action. Specifications If necessary. replace regulator.
