1987 model 944 and 944S vehicles produced during October, November and December 1986 will have fuel economy (consumption) gauges installed at random. Only cars without ABS and/or air bag systems may have economy gauges installed.

Replacement parts will be available. However, Warranty will only cover replacement with the same type gauge that was installed in the vehicle during production.
