Removing/Installing Roof

REMOVING AND INSTALLING ELECTRIC SUNROOF

Removing







1. Open sunroof lid approx. 100 mm. Loosen clips on front edge of sunroof liner on sunroof.




2. Push back sunroof liner completely and close sunroof lid. Remove edge guard caps of front guides.




3. Take off front guides from sunroof after loosening screws.




4. Lift spring locks off of rear guides and turn aside.




5. Unscrew screws of rear guides and takeoff reinforcements.




6. Lift and remove sunroof lid toward front.


Installing










1. Inspect all components before installing sunroof lid (velvet strips, rubber seals, holders, slides and felt for claw plates), replacing parts if necessary.




2. Run in sunroof lid toward rear and position in same plane with car root.




3. Insert rear reinforcements and bolt on sunroof lid together with guides. Height adjustments are made with slotted hexagon head screws. Connect spring lock.







4. Place front guides on rail and mount on sunroof lid with lock plates and screws. Adjust height with knurled nuts. Insert edge guard caps.

5. Open sunroof lid approx. 100 mm, pull roof liner forward and install in clips.
