Test Point 20 - Ground and Plug Connections

Check the following plug and ground connections for corrosion or damage:


Grounds
^ Ground lead from harness to engine block.
^ Battery ground lead to clutch bell housing.
^ Ignition final stage ground on side member at left front.
^ Fuel pump ground behind spare tire.


Plug connections
^ DME control unit, under passenger footwell.
^ 14 pin connector next to brake booster.
^ 3 pin plug for engine speed sensor behind #4 cylinder intake runner.
^ 3 pin plug for oxygen sensor behind #4 cylinder intake runner.
^ 3 pin throttle switch connector at throttle valve.
^ 2 pin plug on tank venting solenoid at brake booster.
^ 4 pin plug on air flow sensor.
^ 2 pin engine temperature sensor in engine block near cylinder #1.
^ 7 pin connector at ignition final stage.
^ 3 pin hall sensor connector behind cam drive gear.
^ 2 pin knock sensor I connector, between cylinders 1 and 2.
^ 2 pin knock sensor II connector, between cylinders 3 and 4.
^ 2 pin plug for idle speed control, between intake runners 2 and 3.
^ Plug for injector ballast resistor, right rear of engine compartment.
^ 2 pin plug on each fuel injector.

Repair or replace as necessary.
