Engine Speed Sensor: Locations
ENGINE SPEED/REFERENCE MARKER TRANSMITTER The engine speed/reference marker signal is taken from a ring gear milled onto the flywheel. The signal is monitored by means of an adjustable inductive sensor which must be located 0.8 ±0.2 mm from the ring gear.
