OXYGEN SENSOR REPLACEMENT
When replacing oxygen sensor, always use the following precautions:
^ Be sure threads are free of damage, burrs, and carbon deposits.
^ Be careful not to damage pigtail wires when removing or installing sensor.
^ Be sure threads are coated with high temperature anti-seize compound (carefully coat threads so as not to contaminate inside sensor surfaces.
^ Install and tighten to specified torque (49-57 Nm / 36-43 ft.lbs.).
^ Make sure harness connection is clean and tight.
