Test Point 10/11 - Knock Sensor I & II

KNOCK SENSOR I - Fault code 1_31/1_32 - Knock sensor I/II: Knock signal not plausible.

Possible Causes, Elimination, Remarks
Check:
- Knock sensor mounting (check torque and type of screw)
Sensor bridge - 10 Nm (7.5 ft.lb) - if equipped
Knock sensor - 20 Nm (15 ft.lb)
- Wiring harness and plug connections in accordance with wiring diagram
- Reconnecting the sensors eliminates contact resistances.
- Replace knock sensor
