Diagnose/Test
    Data Link Connector
      Read fault memory.
Inspect
    Vehicle
      Visual inspection for leaks (oils and fluids). Check ignition circuits 1 and 2 with system tester 9288. Road test: check brakes, parking brake, clutch, cruise control, steering, heating, A/C and instruments.
    Tires
      Check condition and pressure.
    Throttle Cable/Linkage
      Check for smooth operation and full throttle opening, lubricate as necessary
    Suspension
      Check all suspension components for tightness or damage. Check track rods links for play or damage.
    Steering Gear
      Check for leaks or damage.
    Seat Belt
      Check condition and operation.
    Power Steering Fluid
    Positive Crankcase Ventilation
      Check hoses and connections, clean filter where applicable
    Parking Brake System
      Check handbrake operation and adjustment.
    Lighting and Horns
      Check headlights for alignment and operation. Check all other lights for operation. Check horn.
    Fuel Delivery and Air Induction
      Visually inspect fuel system for leaks or damage. Check hoses, lines and connections of intake air system for damage.
    Fluid - M/T
    Fluid - Differential
      Check front differential fluid level.
    Fluid - A/T
      Check fluid levels.
    Exhaust System
      Check for leaks and damage.
    Drive/Propeller Shaft
      Visual inspection of dust boots, leaks or damage.
    Drive Belt
    Clutch, M/T
      Clutch: Check play or final position of pedal. Check fluid level.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Check pads and discs for wear. Check hoses and lines for damage, routing and corrosion. Check brake fluid level.
    Body and Frame
      Lubricate door hinges and rear lid hinges. Check door, lid locks and safety hooks on front lid for tightness and operation.
    Air Filter Element
      Inspect engine air filter and replace if necessary.
