Cycle Flag
In order to reach "trip" conditions, all diagnoses must be checked again after starting the engine. This includes 30 different diagnostic procedure& (cycles), most of which are completed in a relatively short time after the engine is started. However, there are also diagnostic procedures which require certain time conditions, engine speeds, engine temperatures and loads. The cycle flag menu can be used to determine whether the critical diagnostic procedures have already been completed.
The following display appears:
Cycle flag
* * * * * *
6 5 4 3 2 1
return: N.
If the cycle has been completed, an asterisk appears above the number.
The meaning of the cycle flags is as follows:
1 - Catalytic converter efficiency diagnosis
2 - Oxygen sensor aging diagnosis
3 - Secondary air injection system diagnosis
4 - Tank ventilation system diagnosis
5 - Adaptation diagnosis, range 2 (FRA)
6 - Adaptation diagnosis, range 1 (TRA)
