Fitting Roll Cage - GT3

The screwed roll cage is not fully fitted on vehicle delivery if the vehicle is supplied with Club Sport equipment. The front sections (A-pillar support) of the roll cage which are delivered separately from the vehicle must be fitted on to the base cage.

NOTE: The legally permissible treatment must be obtained from the relevant national importer.

CAUTION:
1. Danger of head injuries in the event of an impact with the roll cage.
2. When driving with the standard three-point belt, there is a possibility that, in the event of an accident, an occupant's head may come into contact with the roll cage.
- The A-pillar struts should only be installed if the vehicle is to be used immediately on closed circuits.
- If the car is to be used on the road again (after being used for racing purposes), it is advisable to remove the A-pillar struts again, depending on the size of the occupants. The rear section of the cage can remain installed permanently.
- The three-point belts must be fastened when driving on public roads.

Adjusting The Roll-Over Bar

The foam coating of the A-pillar support sections must be pressed against the cowl panel frame trim.

2. Screw the lock nut -1- in the direction of the arrow -X- as far as it will go against the adjusting element -2- and lock it against the adjusting element -2-.
