Adjusting Cabriolet Convertible Top







INFORMATION:
- The requirement for adjusting convertible top is that convertible top gears are adjusted. Refer to Adjusting convertible top gear
- The requirement for adjusting convertible top is that the roll-over bar is calibrated. Refer to Removing and installing roll-over bar.
- The requirement for adjusting convertible top is that the roll-over bar is calibrated. Refer to Removing and installing convertible top compartment lid.
- On vehicles which have been used for a long time with open convertible top or with hardtop, it may be the case that the engaging of the locking hook must be aided by pulling the convertible top towards the windscreen with one of the grippers in the convertible top frame. The folded convertible-top covering must first stretch again.

1. Adjustment of the push bars on the convertible top drives







1.1. Remove convertible top (push bar spring and push bar) left and right and swivel forwards until the convertible top lock retracts into the roof frame. Do not close convertible top lock.
1.2. Undo fastening screw -2-. Press ball socket of push bar -1- into ball head of convertible top support. Tighten fastening screw -2-.
1.3. Fit push bar springs on the left and right.
1.4. End service position.

2. Adjusting the tension cables on convertible top frame







2.1. Adjust contact pressure between tension bow seal and the convertible top compartment lid by screwing hexagon-head bolt -A- in and out.
2.2. Adjust contact pressure in such a way that a 0.5-mm plug-in card can be pulled through the tension bow seal and the convertible top compartment lid on all sides.
