Diagnosis of Vehicle Speed Sensor

Fault recognition of vehicle speed is performed during fuel cutoff (see Diagnosis of Vehicle Speed Sensor).

A signal fault is detected if:

- the condition fuel cut-off is valid for the time period threshold,
- the engine speed is between two given thresholds,
- simultaneously the vehicle speed is lower than threshold and,
- engine temperature is greater than threshold.
