Air-conditioning compressor removed

Servo-tank removed

Exhaust system removed (without manifold)

Allocation of camshafts

Camshafts of cylinder bank 1 - 3





- Designation on the camshafts 1-3:

^ Inlet camshaft: 261.08/3.6 IN 1-3
^ Exhaust camshaft: 262.05/3.6 EX 1-3

Camshafts of cylinder bank 4 - 6





- Designation on the camshafts 4-6:

^ Inlet camshaft: 263.08/3.6 IN 4-6
^ Exhaust camshaft: 264.05/3.6 EX 4-6

Allocation of camshaft adjustment device on inlet camshafts

Camshaft adjustment device on inlet camshaft, cylinder bank 1 - 3

Information
^ Side 1-3: the arrow should be attached in anti-clockwise position

- Designation, side 1-3:





^ Part number, cylinder bank, manufacturer information, direction of rotation of engine (arrow), production date.

Allocation of chain tensioners





- Chain tensioner on crankcase (oil filter area). Identification: 1 ring
- Chain tensioner on cylinder head, cylinder bank 1 - 3. Identification: 2 rings





- Chain tensioner on cylinder head, cylinder bank 4 - 6. No identification. Fastened with hexagon socket head bolt.





Tightening torque for chain tensioners: 80 Nm (59 ftlb.)
