Coding Radio
Teaching the car radio
NOTE:
- If a new car radio is to be installed in a vehicle, the PCM2/CDR23 code specified in IPAS must be used.
- You can get the codes for the car radio from IPAS or from your importer by specifying the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
- If possible, before the car radio is removed and replaced, a read-out of the vehicle data should be obtained from the Porsche System Tester
- During coding, it is essential to guarantee the power supply for the Porsche System Tester. In case of doubt, connect a charging unit to the vehicle battery.
- Symbol for the TAB key ->|
- Instructions for the Porsche System Tester have a higher priority than the points listed here and are to be followed where descriptions deviate. Deviations may occur with later software versions (as of 15.0)
