Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Removing and installing pump for windscreen washer system

Removal
1. Remove tank for windscreen washer system.
2. Remove hose to the spray nozzles at the tank and turn the pump outlet to the rear.







3. Lift pump out of the rubber sleeve.
4. Pull hose off the pump.


NOTE: A stuck hose can be pulled off more easily if it is heated with a hot-air gun.


Installation
1. Check rubber sleeve for pump, replace if necessary.
2. Install pump and tank, fill in water and perform a function test.
