Engine M96/01





Cylinder head to crankcase M10 x 230
Initial tightening or tightening to flatten
1st step 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
2nd step Cylinder head screws completely undone

Final tightening
1st step 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
2nd step 60 ° turn
3rd step 60 ° turn

Camshaft bearing saddles to cylinder head M6 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.)

M96/79 Engine - GT3





Cylinder head nut in accordance with tightening sequence: initial tightening M10 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.) 1 Nm (thread and contact surface ft. lbs.)
Undo all cylinder head nuts
Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Final tightening 120° torque angle

Camshaft bearing cap to camshaft housing M6 Nm (10.9 ft. lbs.) 13 Nm (9.5 ft. lbs.)

Exhaust manifold left /right to cylinder head in accordance with tightening sequence:
initial tightening M8 Nm (10.9 ft. lbs.) 25 Nm (19 ft. lbs.)
Final tightening 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.)

Chain sprocket central screw to camshaft, left /right, outlet Nm (always replace ft. lbs.):
Counter initial tightening M12 x 1.5 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
Counter final tightening 90° torque angle

Cylinder head on crankcase,
1st step, then undo all screws M10 x 230 Torx screw 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
2. step 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
3. step 70° torque angle
4. step 70° torque angle

Camshaft bearing saddles on cylinder head Pan-head screws M6 x 35 and M6 x 40 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.)
Exhaust manifold on cylinder head M8 x 28 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)

Camshaft drive wheel and drive plate on camshaft M6 x 12 Nm (10.9 ft. lbs.) 14 Nm (10.5 ft. lbs.)
