Single CD Drive Overheating

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition ON
- CDR23 ON
- Audio CD inserted
- Start CD player

NOTE: Fault code 8003 is recorded if the operating buttons are actuated for one or more minutes.

Possible cause of fault
- Overheating caused by exposure to sunlight
- Overheating caused by heaters
- Temperature sensor in CDR23 (FOT) faulty
- CDR23 faulty
